RAYCO RM50 is a fiber reinforced, non-shrink, cementitious repair mortar capable of repairing concrete damages, honeycombs
and weakened structures. Recommended repair thickness is 5–50 mm per application. Total build-up thickness of up to 100
mm can be achieved by applying 50 mm layers at 24-hour intervals.
SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be smooth, sound and free from debris. Surfaces must be free from oil contamination. Concrete surfaces must be free from any trace of release oils and curing compound. Prior to application, pre-wet the substrate with clean water, especially for outdoor applications and during hot weather conditions. Surface roughening or mechanical chipping is required on smooth substrates.Note: Do not re-temper or add water to partially hardened material
MIXING
Using a plastic container, place 4.5-5 liters of clean water in the container and add 25 kg of RAYCO RM50. Mix thoroughly using a slow speed electric drill fitted with paddle for 3 – 5 minutes until desired homogeneous paste is achieved. Depending on the ambient temperature and the desired consistency, the amount of water required may vary slightly but should not exceed 5.0 liters per 25 kg bag of RAYCO RM50. Always add powder to water.- High compressive strength
