RAYCOAT PU WATERPROOFING is a cold applied, single component, PU Hybrid Membrane which offers great stability and durability. It is
flexible, tough, and fast-curing, capable of drying in 6-8 hours depending on the number of coats and temperaturesss. Raycoat PU
Waterproofing can bridge and seal hairline cracks. Its properties make it an excellent choice for achieving perfect waterproofing on a wide
range of substrates of surfaces and substrates.
SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be smooth, sound and free from debris. Surfaces must be free from oil contamination. Concrete surfaces must be free from any trace of release oils and curing compound. Prior to application, pre-wet the substrate with clean water, especially for outdoor applications and during hot weather conditions. Surface roughening or mechanical chipping is required on smooth substrates.Note: Do not re-temper or add water to partially hardened material
MIXING
Using a plastic container, place 4.5-5 liters of clean water in the container and add 25 kg of RAYCO RM50. Mix thoroughly using a slow speed electric drill fitted with paddle for 3 – 5 minutes until desired homogeneous paste is achieved. Depending on the ambient temperature and the desired consistency, the amount of water required may vary slightly but should not exceed 5.0 liters per 25 kg bag of RAYCO RM50. Always add powder to water.- High compressive strength
