RAYCOAT Rayflex Bond Flexible Cementitious Waterproofing

PRODUCT PREPARATION

Combine 1 part Rayflex Bond with 1 to 2 parts cement. You can mix manually with a stirrer or use a power mixer. Continue mixing until you achieve a uniform, homogeneous blend.

PRODUCT APPLICATION

To apply Rayflex Bond, use a clean roller or paint brush and apply a thick coat. Let it dry for a few hours before adding another coat. If you’re painting a vertical surface, you’ll need two or four coats. For horizontal surfaces, you’ll need three to six coats. Apply Rayflex Bond to the positive side of concrete floors and walls. For best results, add a top coat.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Concrete surface to be treated must be clean, dry (up to 1% moisture content) and free of laitance, dirt, paint coating and other foreign materials. Structural defects such as cracks, faulty construction joints and honeycombing should be routed out to sound concrete and repaired using epoxy injection (see separate data sheet). It is recommended that Rayflex Bond or sealant be formed at all corners to receive the waterproofing membrane. Areas with water ponding should be repaired or ground to let water run down to the drainage.
