20m² per bagRAYCO PREMIUM SKIMCOAT SUPERFINE is a cementitious finishing mortar for thin plastering applications. formulated for interior and exterior applications on concrete surfaces and precast elements. Rayco Premium Skimcoat is a single component product that is easy to apply and exhibits excellent properties. It also reduces construction costs by replacing three applications– concrete neutralizer, patching compound and flat latex as primer. It is used to used to level uneven surfaces from 0–3 mm thickness on most masonry substrates.
All surfaces must be smooth, sound and free from debris. Surfaces must be free from oil contamination. Concrete surfaces must be free from any trace of release oils and curing compound. Prior to application, wet the substrate well with clean water, especially for outdoor applications and during extreme hot weather conditions. Apply the mixed Rayco Premium Skimcoat using a steel trowel. Thin skim coating will dry in about 30–45 minutes depending on temperature and porosity of substrate. Smoothen the skim coat using a soft paint brush or steel trowel. Note: No further addition of water to unused plaster is required. Rayco Premium Skimcoat may be over coated with a decorative coating after 48 hours depending on the ambient condition
